Naf Naf means to ‘fan the flame.’ The expression is used as an invitation for friends and family to gather and share a meal together. Back in 2009, Sahar Sander, our late founder, opened the first Naf Naf in Naperville, Illinois and invited the community in to try his authentic handmade recipes true to his Middle Eastern upbringing. We still serve those recipes today at every Naf Naf and invite you in to share a meal with us.

Our Chicken Shawarma is hand-built using the freshest poultry available, slowly roasted throughout the day for you to see, and carved thin in the traditional and most delectable ways.
Our falafel is killer with no filler. Forget the bagged falafel mix; we do it only one way at Naf Naf Grill: the right way. Only fresh chickpeas, onions, peppers, spices and herbs make it into our freshly-ground, hand-crafted falafel. Why do we go to such lengths to make our falafel fresh? Because you’re our guest. At Naf Naf, pita is not just a science, it’s an art form. These melt-in-your-mouth, cloud-like circles of yum are baked in small batches every day for your pleasure. Our pita bread has a reputation and we’re proud of our baby. Stop in for lunch one day and you may get prime courtside seats to watch our highly-skilled bakers do their thing.
