Naf Naf means to ‘fan the flame.’ The expression is used as an invitation for friends and family to gather around the grill and share a meal together. Back in 2009, Sahar Sander, our late founder, opened the first Naf in Naperville, Illinois and invited the community in to try his authentic handmade recipes true to his Middle Eastern upbringing. Fun fact - we still serve those recipes in our restaurants today!
We proudly share our fresh Middle Eastern food in 8 states, with restaurants under development in several more.
Our franchising program was launched in 2019, providing the opportunity to serve our fresh, authentic Middle Eastern food in more new markets. Our franchisees will be joining a company that is in the same business, as Naf Naf owns operates restaurants in multiple markets. OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
Greg has over 20 years of restaurant experience as an operator, advisor, and investor. As Co-Founder and CEO of 316 Investments, Greg was one of the first developers of Qdoba Mexican Grill and was the first franchisee of Naf Naf. He's also held senior executive roles in marketing, strategy, and business development.
Grady brings more than 30 years of financial experience to Naf, most recently leading Sysco as Executive CFO. Previous to Sysco, Grady served as VP of Finance for FoodBrand, a multi concept restaurant company.
LISA McBETH ROTT
Lisa has over 30 years of operations experience, with positions in Training, Strategy, and Company and Franchise Operations. She was instrumental in achieving operational excellence at Qdoba Mexican Eats, as they grew from 60 to 650+ units.
Brian RichVP Development & Real Estate
Brian has 30 years of construction experience ranging from general contracting through corporate and franchise development within the restaurant and retail sectors.
Steven CorpVP Franchise Sales
Steven has 22 years of restaurant and franchise development experience. Most recently, he led franchise sales for Corelife Eatery, following 15 years of franchise sales at Focus Brands.
